Chain seals BC galvanised bolts

This chain seal guarantees an absolutely air-tight and water-tight seal between the carrier pipe and the casing pipe, or between the carrier pipe and the borehole, thanks to the radial expansion that occurs when the segments are bolted together. The soft rubber makes the seal particularly suitable for plastic pipes, and the linked segments are available in many sizes for a very wide range of applications. The seal is installed by laying the chain around the pipe with the bolt heads facing you, connecting it together and pushing it into the casing pipe. The bolts are then tightened alternately with a torque wrench to the specified tightening torque and retightened after approximately two hours. The seal withstands 3.0 bar and working temperatures from -40 °C to +80 °C. The chain seal is not intended as axial restraint and is not used on spiral-welded pipes.
