Chain seals BS316 acid-resistant bolts

This chain seal guarantees an absolutely airtight and watertight seal between the carrier pipe and the casing pipe, or alternatively between the carrier pipe and a borehole, thanks to the radial expansion that occurs as the segments are bolted together. The soft rubber makes the seal particularly suitable for plastic pipes, and the linked segments are available in many sizes, giving a very wide range of applications. The seal is installed by laying the chain around the pipe with the bolt heads facing you, linking it together and pushing it into the casing pipe. The bolts are then tightened alternately with a torque wrench to the specified tightening torque and re-tightened after approximately two hours. The seal withstands 3.0 bar and working temperatures from -40°C to +80°C.
