Chain seals OC galvanised bolts

The chain seal seals between the media pipe and the casing pipe, or between the media pipe and the borehole. The interconnected segments expand radially as the bolts are tightened, giving an absolutely airtight, watertight and radon-tight penetration. The rubber is nitrile rubber, which is oil and fuel resistant but not UV resistant, and the seal withstands working temperatures from -40°C to +70°C and a maximum pressure of 5.0 bar. It is available in many sizes from IL100 up to IL700 and can also be retrofitted. During installation, the pipe is centred in a clean casing pipe or borehole, the chain is placed around the pipe with the bolt heads facing the installer, and the bolts are tightened alternately clockwise with a torque wrench to the specified tightening torque. Re-tightening takes place after approximately two hours and is repeated several times.
