Flap valves with socket

The flap valve with socket is used to climate-proof sewer pipelines and prevent wastewater from backing up into buildings and basements when pressure in the network increases during heavy rainfall. The flap is angled 11° and closes when the flow reverses direction, stopping backwater. The socket end connects directly to the spigot end of the pipe, making installation straightforward and allowing the valve to be fitted into existing pipelines without extensive rebuilding work. The range covers sizes from DN110 up to DN630 and is available in three design variants that follow the size range, allowing the same proven design to be used in both smaller and larger sewer pipelines. A corresponding version is also available with a spigot end.
