Manual clamping tools are used for temporary shut-off of PE pipes, for example during repairs or connections on an existing pipeline. The tools are operated by hand and need no external power source, making them easy to take out into the field. The range covers several clamping widths: 16–32 mm and 16–42 mm for SDR11, 16–63 mm for several SDR values, and 63–125 mm for SDR11 and SDR17.6. The tools are fitted with stop collars that limit the clamping according to the pipe's SDR value and size, so that the pipe is compressed in a controlled way based on the wall thickness. Stop collars are available for various SDR values and sizes, and on request also for additional SDR values. Clamping tools for larger sizes can be offered on request.
