Compression sleeve L965 for tapping into double-walled pipes and manholes – a built-in stop gives a stable, tight connection, quickly installed.
About the product
The compression sleeve is used for tapping into double-walled plastic pipes and manholes, for example Ultra, OPTIRIB, TERRA, PRAGMA and UPOROL. It gives a stable, tight connection and can also be used as a 90-degree saddle branch. The pipe part is made of PP plastic and the sleeve is secured with a mounting band. A built-in stop prevents the sleeve from protruding into the main or manhole, and the face-to-face length is 90 mm. The sleeve is supplied with a short plastic pipe with a socket, ready for connection. The tapping is made with a hole saw, after which the sleeve is pressed into place with a mounting tool and the band is tightened to 6–8 Nm. It is available for connections of 110 and 160 mm, larger sizes on request.
