Long 30° bends SDR11

Long 30° PE bends are used for gentle changes of direction in pressurised polyethylene pipelines, where a shallow angle gives a lower pressure drop than a sharp bend. The fitting is injection moulded in PE100 and is available for pipe diameters from 75 to 225 mm in both SDR11 and SDR17, covering the most common sizes in distribution and service pipelines. The long design gives generous fusion ends and is installed either with an electrofusion coupler or by butt fusion directly to the pipe. As the bend has the same material and pressure class as the pipe, the joint is homogeneous and the pipeline retains its strength at the joint. The design withstands pressure class PN16 in SDR11. Other pressure classes, angles and sizes can be manufactured on request.
