Long 45° PE branch pipe SDR11

Long 45° PE branch pipes are used to take a branch connection off a PE pressure pipeline at a gentle 45-degree angle, giving a smoother flow transition than a right-angled connection. The branch pipe is injection moulded in PE100 and is jointed either with an electrofusion coupler or by butt fusion to the connecting pipe. The long ends make it easy to access with fusion equipment and to work in confined trenches. The branch pipe is available in pressure class PN16/SDR11 and in PN10/SDR17, and the range covers pipe outside diameters from 40 mm up to 315 mm. The branch has the same size as the main pipe; for smaller service branches, long PE tees with a reduced branch are available. The fusion joint gives a sound, end-load resistant connection in the same material as the rest of the pipeline.
