Long 90° bends SDR17

Long 90° PE bends are used for changes of direction in pressurised polyethylene pipelines. The bend is injection moulded in PE100 and has long ends, allowing it to be fitted either with an electrofusion coupler or butt fused directly to the pipe end. The longer legs give room for the welding equipment and make the work easier in confined trenches. The range covers pressure class PN16 (SDR11) and PN10 (SDR17) and pipe sizes from 20 mm to 315 mm outside diameter, covering everything from smaller service connections to larger mains. As the bend is made of the same material as the pipe, the weld joint becomes homogeneous and watertight. Bends in other pressure classes, angles or sizes are manufactured on request.
