Long PE reducers SDR11

Long PE reducers are used to step down one or more sizes in pressurised PE pipelines. The long, tapered transition gives a gradual change in flow area and means the reducer can be welded in even where the distance to adjacent pipe fittings is limited. The fitting is injection moulded in PE100 and intended for pressure class PN16. Installation is by electrofusion coupler or butt fusion, so the welding method can be chosen to suit conditions in the trench or in prefabrication. The range is available in both SDR11 and SDR17 and covers size combinations from 25/20 mm and upwards, so the same series can be used from smaller service connections to larger mains. Short reducers for butt fusion are available as a complement where the face-to-face length needs to be kept short.
