Loose bolts, nuts and washers in size M39 are used for flanged joints where the parts are selected individually rather than as a complete bolt set, for example when completing or replacing individual parts in an existing joint. The thread size M39 is used on the largest flanged joints and is found, among others, in flanges PN16 in DN1000 and PN25 in DN700, where the bolt hole diameter is 42 mm. The parts are available both in stainless design and in galvanised steel, which means the joint can be adapted to the environment around the pipe. The stainless nut is supplied treated against seizing, a property that is particularly valuable in the heavier thread sizes.
