The INSITU tapping sleeve is used for tapping into double-walled plastic pipes and manholes. It is used in the same way as a standard tapping sleeve, but is designed for double-walled plastic constructions where the outer wall requires its own sealing solution. The sleeve is made of SBR rubber and is pressed into the drilled hole, where a built-in stop prevents it from being pushed too far into the main or the manhole. The result is a stable, watertight branch connection. A version with a mounting band is also available, which further locks the sleeve against the pipe wall. The sleeves are available in several lengths and for different hole diameters, and handle wall thicknesses up to 65 mm, covering common double-walled plastic pipes and plastic manholes.
