Narrow mounting straps for tapping saddle

Narrow mounting straps are used to fix the tapping saddle to the existing main. The straps are suitable for all types of pipe. The overlapping clamping ranges mean you can select a strap close to the actual pipe diameter, giving an even contact pressure around the pipe. The strap is made of stainless steel with rubber against the pipe surface, and is tightened with bolts and nuts, where the nuts are treated to prevent galling during tightening. Spherical washers allow the bolt to self-align so that the force is distributed correctly even on rounded surfaces.
