About the product
Cherne flexible muniballs are pipe plugs with a pass-through that allow you to pump past a section during repairs and other work, so that flow can continue. They are also used for leak testing of gravity sewers. Each size covers a wide working range. The plug is made of natural rubber with good sealing properties and strong expansion, and is kevlar-reinforced in larger sizes. It is supplied with a Schrader valve for air inflation and is inflated with air, water or inert gases – never with chemicals or hydrocarbons. Clean the pipe, position the plug at least one pipe diameter in, and block or brace it before inflation. Working temperature -18 to +52 °C and maximum back pressure 12 mWC.
