About the product
The conversion kit is used to convert a BlueSeal coupling so that it can be connected to copper pipe instead of PE pipe. The kit replaces the coupling's sealing components and is available for copper pipe from 12.7 to 25.4 mm in combination with PE size 20 and 25 mm. The coupling is a restrained compression coupling in polypropylene rated for a working pressure of 16 bar in pressurised water systems. The seal is based on a patented system with a pre-lubricated double lip seal and pressure ring, giving quick and easy installation without welding or adhesive. During installation, the pipe end is chamfered and the insertion depth is marked. The nut is loosened, the pipe is turned in to the pipe stop, and the nut is then tightened with the designated installation tool to the specified torque.
