The transition connects a PE pipe to steel pipe and is used where the connection is to be welded. The long PE end is intended for electrofusion coupler or butt fusion and provides a fully welded, end-load resistant connection with no loose parts in the ground. The spigot end in stainless steel 1.4401 is welded to the existing steel pipeline. The fitting is made of PE100 in SDR11 and rated for PN16, making the transition suitable for pressurised systems for water and gas. The range covers pipe sizes from 25 mm outside diameter and upwards, with spigot ends matched to the outside diameter of the steel pipe. The long PE end provides room for the welding equipment during installation. Other materials can be offered on request.
