Fernco gaskets for Ultrarib 2 are used when a ribbed Ultrarib 2 pipe is to be connected to a part that requires a smooth contact surface. The set consists of two gaskets in SBR rubber that fit into the grooves on the pipe's outer profile. Once the gaskets are in place, the grooves are filled in and the pipe gets a smooth surface that the seal can sit evenly against all the way round. Installation is simple and takes place directly in the grooves of the pipe.
