PRV is an automatic safety valve developed and designed for use with pneumatic pipe stoppers. The valve protects against overfilling by opening with full bore flow when activated, then resetting quickly and safely at or just above the inflation pressure. The precision of opening and closing allows the stopper to be kept at the correct pressure during testing. The valve is constructed in aluminium and stainless steel and is available in versions for stoppers with a maximum pressure of up to 0.8 bar and 1.7 bar respectively. A dirt filter prevents debris from causing damage. The connection has a left-hand thread and the valve is field-replaceable. A conversion kit is also available for converting from rupture disc to PRV on I-series test balls.
