Cleaning band

The cleaning band is used for mechanical cleaning of pipelines, for example PE pipes. Riveted tungsten carbide discs are fitted along the band and scrape the pipe surface clean. Cleaning is carried out by wrapping the band once around the pipe and then moving it back and forth using the ergonomic handles. Because the band encloses the pipe, the top of the pipe is also cleaned in the same motion, without the pipe needing to be turned or lifted out of the trench. The tungsten carbide discs are hard-wearing and withstand repeated use in the field. The band is available in several lengths so it can be matched to different pipe sizes, and its low weight makes it easy to carry between work stages.
