The pipe fixing tool with strap is used to hold the socket and pipe in perfect position during welding work. The pipe must be kept completely still during both welding and cooling, as even small movements can cause cracking in the weld joint. The tool is tensioned around the pipe with a strap and provides stability throughout the entire welding cycle. The working range covers pipes with an outside diameter of 125–500 mm, and a special design is available for tees. For larger sizes or more demanding jobs, hydraulic tools are available. Combined fixing and rounding tools also make the process faster and safer, as the pipe can be rounded and held in place in the same work step.
