Mechanical pipe plug nylon

The nylon pipe plug is part of a wide range of mechanical pipe plugs for applications within water and wastewater, gas, industry and energy. The plug is made of nylon and is fitted inside the pipe, where it is mechanically expanded against the pipe wall so that the pipe is sealed. A through-bore with an external R15 thread runs through the plug, allowing a hose or connection to be passed through the sealed pipe. The design covers pipe sizes from DN 40 up to DN 150 with working ranges from approximately 36 mm to 161 mm, giving each plug some margin for variation in the pipe's inside diameter. Maximum pressure is between 0.34 and 1.4 bar depending on size, and the low weight – under half a kilo in all sizes – makes the plug easy to carry and handle in trenches and manholes.
