Pipe support KAS-1 and KAS-2

Pipe supports KAS-1 and KAS-2 act as spacers between the media pipe and the surrounding casing pipe. They fit media pipes with an outside diameter from 98 mm up to 380 mm and are made from black, UV-stabilised polypropylene, PP, giving high durability. The elements are 150 mm wide and have an electrical strength of over 10 kV/mm. The working temperature range is -10°C to 50°C, and the maximum load is 750 kg per ring for the 20, 36 and 50 mm heights, and 500 kg per ring for the taller heights. Each support is built up from segments that are screwed together into a ring around the pipe, with the number of segments selected according to the pipe's outside diameter. KAS-2 gives more segments per support than KAS-1. The stainless steel screws sit on the outside and are tightened evenly with a torque wrench to a maximum of 2 Nm, with the square nut recessed into the groove of the pipe support.
