Pipe support KMS-1 and KMS-1,5
Pipe support in PP for carrier pipes with OD 400–1200 mm. The segments are easily bolted together into a stable ring – choose the height you need, 25–125 mm.
About the product
Pipe support KMS-1 and KMS-1,5 acts as a spacer between the carrier pipe and the surrounding casing pipe and is used for carrier pipes with an outside diameter from 400 mm to 1200 mm (DN400–DN1200). The support is made from black, UV-stabilised polypropylene, PP, and consists of segments that are bolted together around the carrier pipe to form a complete ring. The elements are 160 mm wide and have an electrical strength of over 10 kV/mm. The number of segments is selected according to pipe size, and the extra-long KMS-1,5 covers the same size with fewer segments, giving faster installation. The segments are fitted with stainless steel bolts, M8 x 70 with hex socket heads, and square nuts. The bolts are tightened evenly with an 8 mm hex socket to a maximum of 3 Nm, with the square nut sitting in the pipe support's groove. The pipe supports are available in heights of 25, 36, 50, 75, 100 and 125 mm. Heights 25–75 mm withstand 2,000 kg per ring, heights 100 and 125 mm withstand 1,000 kg per ring. The working temperature range is -10 °C to 50 °C. If pipe supports outside the standard range are required, these can be produced on request.
