About the product
The UA saddle branch is used to create an outlet on large pipes and manholes of double-wall type, without the need to replace the existing pipeline. The saddle fits pipes with an inside dimension from 750 up to 3000 mm and provides a connection with a very high degree of tightness, preventing root ingress and infiltration. The saddle is mainly constructed of EPDM and ABS plastic. During installation, a hole is cut in the existing pipe using a hole saw, after which the saddle is fitted against the pipe wall and the outlet is connected. As only the area where the saddle is to be fitted needs to be exposed, the pipe bedding is left undisturbed, giving minimal excavation and a cost-effective installation. No special tools are required, making the installation simple and quick even in confined trenches.
