Saddle scraper multi

The surface of PE pipe oxidises when exposed to air, and the oxide layer impairs weldability. Scraping off the outer layer is therefore essential before welding. The saddle scraper is a mechanical rotary scraper used to scrape the middle section of the pipe, where branch connections and saddle branches are to be fitted. The rotation gives even and controlled removal of the surface, unlike manual scraping, and ensures that the correct amount of material is removed - not too much, not too little. The tool adapts to the shape and size of the pipe, giving the same working method regardless of where on the pipe the branch connection is positioned. The scraper is available in several models with different working ranges, so that both smaller and larger pipe sizes can be processed.
