About the product
Segment-welded 30° bends are used for changes of direction in pressurised pipelines made of polyethylene, for example in water supply and sewerage. The bend is made up of two segments and covers angles between 0° and 30°, allowing the pipeline to follow the trench and terrain without additional couplings. The material is PE100RC, the same polyethylene grade as the rest of the pipeline. The bends are available in SDR17 and SDR11, and for certain sizes also SDR13.6, for pipes with an outside diameter from 90 up to 1000 mm. Each bend is manufactured to order, which means the angle, pressure class and size are specified at the time of ordering so that the part matches the existing pipeline. The bends are part of a segment-welded range that also includes tees, branches and crosses in the same material.
