Segment-welded 90° PE bends SDR17

Segment-welded 90° bends are used for changes of direction in pressurised PE pipelines for water and wastewater. The bend is made up of four segments and covers angles from 61° to 90°, allowing it to be adapted to the actual line of the pipe in the trench. The component is manufactured in PE100RC, a material with enhanced resistance to point loads and slow crack growth, and can therefore be used with the same installation methods as the other PE pipes in the system. The range covers pipe sizes from 90 mm to 1000 mm outside diameter in pressure classes SDR17 and SDR11, and other pressure classes can be supplied on request. As the bend is made from the same material as the pipe, it is welded to the pipeline on site, giving a homogeneous and end-load resistant joint without seals.
