The VB100 shoring box is used where the trench leads up to a manhole structure and the working trench needs to be widened before pipe installation can continue. The sides are U-shaped and the wings are 500 mm wide, giving a wider working area at the manhole without having to widen the whole trench. As standard, the box is supplied with a working width of 990–1290 mm, which can be increased to 1290–1590 mm with a prop extension. The base box is pushed vertically into the ground by alternately pressing and lowering, the so-called dig-and-push method. With one base box and two top boxes, an excavation depth of approximately 5.00 metres is achieved, with a maximum working height of approximately 1.54 metres. Standard struts and strut extensions give trench widths from 2.20 to 5.00 metres, even in unstable ground conditions.

VB100 is supplied as standard with a working width of 990-1290 mm. If wider boxes are needed, choose the prop extension that fits.
