Trench boxes VB60

The VB 60 trench box is used to secure pipe trenches in small to medium-sized water and wastewater projects. The system is assembled outside the trench: the struts are fitted into spring mounts on the panels and locked with bolts and locking pins, after which the box is lifted by the lifting eyes. The base box is pushed down vertically by alternating digging and pushing, the so-called dig-and-push method, and can also be placed in a pre-dug trench where the ground is temporarily stable. With a top box, a trench depth of approximately 4.00 metres is achieved, and the working height in the pipe culvert is up to 1.35 metres. A standard strut with strut extensions gives trench widths from 1.11 to 3.91 metres. The heavy-duty 60 mm panel and robust design give very low deformation even in unstable ground.
