Support sleeves IBDR SDR17

The IBDR support sleeve is an extra heavy-duty and stable support sleeve that is bolted internally into PE pipe to keep the pipe dimensionally stable. It copes with oval pipes and absorbs high loads, making it suitable where couplings and flanged joints are tightened hard against a plastic pipe. The sleeve is made of steel with epoxy-based corrosion protection and is screwed outwards against the inside of the pipe from the pipe end, with a face-to-face length of 300 mm in all sizes. The standard versions cover PE pipe from 300 mm upwards to the largest sizes, in both SDR 11 and SDR 17, and other SDR classes can be produced on request. As the sleeve expands internally, it also compensates for ovality that has arisen during storage, transport or installation.
