Butt fusion machines

Butt fusion machines are used for butt fusion welding of pipes and are offered as a complete product line with models from PT125 to PT1600. The range covers a working area from 40 mm up to 1600 mm, meaning the same machine family covers everything from smaller pipe sizes to large-diameter mains. The machines operate at a working pressure of between 2 and 150 bar. Connection is to 230 V or 400 V 3-phase depending on the model, and power requirements range from 1.75 kW for the smallest machines up to 55 kW for the largest. The largest machines in the range are intended for pipes with an outside diameter of between 630 and 1200 mm and connect to 400 V 3-phase with a power supply of approximately 19.7 kW and 32 A.
