Reinforced suction hose is a hose for the suction side of pumping, and it can also be used as a pressure hose. The reinforced construction is designed specifically for the suction side, where the hose is subjected to negative pressure. The hose is available in sizes from DN100 up to DN300 and in lengths from 2 to 6 metres, which means it can be adapted to both short setups and longer suction runs. The hoses are supplied complete with couplings at the ends: depending on the version, with Perrot female and male, with Bauer coupling or, in the largest size, with flanged coupling. This means the hose can be connected directly to the pump and pipe system without additional accessories. The hose is used with ground-standing pumps, including Selwood and Eisele BS740.
