Swivel 160

Swivel 160 is an accessory for the EasyClip City and EasyClip Link branch fittings and is used when the connecting pipe needs to be aligned with the service pipe. The swivel is fitted to the branch fitting's 160 mm outlet and allows the connection to be angled ±10°. This provides scope to compensate for position and gradient directly in the trench, without extra bends or rerouting of the pipe. Over longer distances the movement becomes considerable: around 35 cm of lateral displacement at a distance of two metres, and up to 70 cm at four metres. As the EasyClip saddles are designed for most pipe types – PP, PVC, PE, concrete, vitrified clay and double-walled pipe – the swivel can be used in most gravity installations where the outlet is 160 mm.
