T-keys

The T-key is a hand tool used together with pressure tapping saddles on pressurised pipelines. The key operates the saddle's stem so that the tapping can be carried out and then closed. The T-shaped grip gives an even and controlled torque with both hands, making the work easier in trenches and other confined spaces. The key is designed for the saddle's key size and is used manually, without the need for electricity or compressed air. It is available in two versions which together cover saddles in most common sizes, from the smallest in DN40 up to DN355. The tool is fitted onto the stem for the tapping and removed once the operation is complete, and can then be used on the next saddle.
