About the product
Cherne test plugs DN20-400 are pneumatic pipe plugs that block pipelines during leak testing, isolation and maintenance, and they work in practically all pipe types. The plugs are made of natural rubber with good sealing properties and excellent expansion, and the larger sizes are kevlar-reinforced. The plugs are supplied as standard with a Schrader valve for air inflation and have a ring and chain or lifting eye for lowering. Inflation is carried out with air, water or inert gas, and the plug is positioned at least one pipe diameter into the pipe. The working temperature is -18 to +52°C and the plugs are pressure tested at the factory.
