Accessibility

Our commitment

IBECO wants ibeco.se to be usable by as many people as possible, whether you navigate with a keyboard, use a screen reader, enlarge the page or need high contrast. We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) level AA as a benchmark for the entire website.

What we have done

• Consistent keyboard navigation with visible focus indication
• Shortcut that skips past the menu directly to the content
• Click targets of at least 44 × 44 pixels in navigation, forms and filters
• Text alternatives on images and labels on all form fields
• Correct heading structure and language tagging of the pages

What we work with

Accessibility is never finished. We continuously review the following areas:

• Text alternatives on product images sourced from our suppliers
• Structure and tagging in the PDF documents under Catalogue & documents
• Subtitles and transcription for product videos

How we test

• Automated tools (Lighthouse, axe DevTools)
• Manual tests using keyboard only
• Testing with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA)
• Contrast checks against the WCAG requirements

The website requires JavaScript for full functionality. We continuously test that the core functions, navigation, search and product information, work with assistive technology in modern browsers.
