About the product
The service valve is used in service pipes where the shut-off needs to be made at a 90° angle, with a male thread in and female thread out. The bore is completely full, giving low pressure losses and the ability to flush the pipe. The valve is available in DN 25–50 for pressure class PN16 and working temperature 0–70 °C (not frost), and is supplied with a 15-year warranty. The valve is intended for drinking water and neutral liquids. The body is cast in ductile iron and the valve has an acid-resistant stainless steel stem with rolled threads and a fully vulcanised plug, giving a low closing torque. The connections are designed as female and male BSP thread to ISO 228-1, with connection R32 or R50 depending on size.
