About the product
The tapping saddle is used for tapping under pressure and provides a directly connected outlet in PE, so threaded couplings are not needed. The outlet pipe can be fusion welded or connected to the PE pipeline in the usual way. The saddle is available with a PE end of 32 and 50 mm and fits all pipe materials. Sealing is achieved using OptimQ's rotating shut-off blade or a standard shut-off blade. Installation is carried out using a stainless steel mounting band selected according to the outside diameter of the pipe.
