About the product
The tapping nipple is used together with a saddle or repair clamp and makes it possible to take a service connection whilst the main is in service. The nipple has an external saddle connection R50 and an internally threaded outlet in sizes from G15 up to G50, so the same solution suits everything from smaller services to larger outlets. The bore is unobstructed and suited for drilling in G 2", and the isolating blade allows the outlet to be shut off once drilling is complete. An integrated sealing cassette keeps the outlet permanently sealed afterwards. The nipple is made of ductile iron with epoxy coating inside and out and is used for drinking water, neutral liquids and saddles in wastewater treatment. It withstands pressures up to PN16 and working temperatures up to 70 °C.
