About the product
The PE end cap is an end-load resistant plug with push-fit installation that closes off a PE pipeline without welding. It fits PE pipe in size 20–63 mm in SDR11 and SDR17 and is used both for new construction and quick repairs, where it replaces electrofusion and manual tightening. The cap is a coupling in PP with a double lip seal and a specially designed grip ring that utilises the water pressure: when the pressure drives the pipe outwards, the ring grips and the seal is secured. No tightening is required for installation. Cut the pipe square, clean and chamfer the pipe end with the appropriate chamfering tool, measure and mark the insertion depth, then push the pipe in to the mark. Pressure class PN16.
