About the product
Bend 11° is a flanged bend in ductile iron for small changes of direction in pressurised water and wastewater pipelines. The shallow angle is used when the pipeline needs a slight adjustment in plan or elevation, for example on long straight runs underground or where the trench bottom follows the terrain. The flanges are rotatable, meaning the bolt holes can be turned into position on site and aligned with the mating flanges without having to realign the whole bend – an advantage in confined trenches. The bend is manufactured to EN 545:2006 with flanges drilled to DIN EN 1092-2 and is available in sizes from small service pipes up to large mains. The pipe fittings can be ordered for PN10, PN16 or PN25, and in the largest sizes the bend is supplied with fixed flanges instead of rotatable ones.
