About the product
Flanged bend 45° is used to change direction in pressurised water pipelines where the pipe fittings are joined with flanged joints. The bend has rotatable flanges, which means the bolt holes can be turned on site in the trench and aligned towards the connecting valve, pipe or other fitting without having to move the whole bend. This simplifies installation in confined spaces and reduces the need for exact pre-assembly. The bend is cast in ductile iron and designed in accordance with EN 545:2006 with flange drilling to DIN EN 1092-2. The range covers DN 40 up to DN 1000, where the largest sizes are supplied with fixed flanges instead of rotatable ones. The fittings can be ordered for PN10, PN16 or PN25, and other sizes are also available on request.
