About the product
The push-fit PE-flange coupling connects PE pipe to flanged components in pressurised water systems. The coupling is end-load resistant and connects PE pipe in SDR11 and SDR17, and is available for pipe sizes from OD 90 mm upwards with pressure class PN10/16, and PN10 in the largest sizes. The coupling, in PP, has a double lip-seal arrangement and a specially designed grip ring, where the water pressure drives the pipe outwards so that the grip ring achieves a secure hold. Installation is carried out without electrofusion welding and without manual tightening: the pipe is cut square, cleaned and chamfered with the appropriate chamfering tool, the insertion depth is measured and marked, and the pipe is pushed in to the mark.
