Extension band for saddle branch fitting 1600 mm

The extension band is an accessory for Fernco flexible 45° saddle branch fittings and is used when the pipe's outside diameter is too large for the saddle's standard mounting band. The band is 1600 mm long and increases the possible outside diameter range by 380 mm, and if even more range is needed, several bands can be used together. The band is made of acid-resistant stainless steel and is fitted around the pipe together with the saddle's own mounting band, after which the saddle is tightened against the pipe surface. The saddle branch fittings can in turn be fitted to all types of smooth pipes regardless of wall thickness, for example PVC, PE, steel, cast iron/ductile iron, concrete, asbestos cement, GRP or vitrified clay pipes. Only the surface where the saddle is fitted needs to be exposed, which keeps excavation to a minimum and leaves the pipe bed undisturbed.
