About the product
The HFIX universal coupling connects pipes of different materials and outside diameters, for example PE, PVC, ductile iron, steel, asbestos cement and glass-fibre reinforced pipes. It is used in drinking water and pipe networks for neutral liquids. The HFIX system locks and seals the coupling without the pipes needing to be taken apart. The pipes are held in place by hardened, grooved rivets that grip the pipe without damaging it. The seal is EPDM, approved for drinking water, and the coupling can accommodate an angular deflection of up to 8°. The working pressure is 10 bar when restrained and 16 bar when non-restrained. Working temperature: 0–70 °C, frost-free.
