Hymax Grip straight couplings

Hymax Grip is a restrained straight coupling that joins and locks pipe ends so they cannot slide apart under pressure. It fits all common pipe types, such as ductile iron, cast iron, steel, PE and PVC, and its wide clamping range means the same coupling covers several outside diameters. The coupling has a ductile iron body and a two-layer, pressure-assisted gasket, where the inner layer can be removed for pipes with a larger outside diameter. Installation is by push-fit: the coupling is slid over the pipe and tightened using the bolts on the top side with a torque wrench, which also allows it to be used as a slip coupling. Each end allows up to 4 degrees of deflection, both during installation and in operation.
