About the product
Plug & Play straight reducer is an end-load resistant push-fit pressure water coupling that joins two PE pipes of different sizes. It connects PE pipe in SDR11 and SDR17 and withstands 16 bar in the reducing sizes, which cover pipe sizes from 20 up to 63 mm. The coupling is mainly manufactured in PP and has a double lip seal together with a specially designed gripper ring, so that the water pressure drives the pipes outward and locks the grip. During installation, the pipe is cut square, the pipe ends are cleaned and chamfered with the appropriate chamfering tool, after which the insertion depth is measured and marked before the pipe is pushed in to the mark. It enables fast and secure repairs and replaces electrofusion welding.
