About the product
Tee for PE pipe with push-fit at two ends and female thread on the branch, for connecting threaded components in pressurised water pipelines. The coupling is restrained and connects PE pipe in SDR11 and SDR17 in sizes OD 20-63 mm with pressure class PN16. A double lip seal and a specially designed grip ring provide the tightness, and the water pressure drives the pipes outward so that the grip ring gets a secure hold. The coupling body is in PP. Installation is carried out without welding: cut the pipe at right angles, clean and chamfer the pipe end with the appropriate chamfering tool, measure and mark the insertion depth and then push the pipe in to the mark. It replaces electrofusion welding and manual tightening and gives quick, simple repairs.
