About the product
Plug & Play 90° angle is a restrained push-fit coupling that connects PE pipe to a male thread with a 90-degree change of direction. It connects PE pipe in SDR11 and SDR17 and is available for pipe sizes 20-63 mm outside diameter with threads from R15 to R50, in pressure class PN16. The coupling is made of PP and has a double lip seal plus a specially designed grip ring, where the water pressure drives the pipe outwards so that the grip ring gets a secure hold. Installation takes place without electrofusion or manual tightening: the pipe is cut square, cleaned and chamfered with the designated chamfering tool, the insertion depth is measured and marked, after which the pipe is pushed in to the mark. The insertion depth is 38-87 mm depending on size.
