Hymax straight reducing couplings

Hymax2 straight coupling, reducing is a non-restrained pipe coupling for DN40–DN700 that joins two pipe ends with different outside diameters. The coupling suits all pipe materials and works equally well against grey cast iron, ductile iron and PE pipes. The low weight and t-handles mean that tightening is done from above, and the design allows deflection of up to ±4 degrees per side. Before installation, clean the pipe contact surfaces and check the outside diameter with the supplied diameter tape, so that the pipe OD falls within the coupling's working range. The minimum insertion depth is 55 mm and half the coupling length is marked on each pipe end. On DN40–DN300 the gasket can be flipped out by hand when the maximum span is required. The tightening torque is stated on each coupling and must always be finished off manually with a torque wrench.
